TIPS AND INSIGHTS
The steel straw should last for a very long time if properly cared for. However, if needed, the straw can be recycled with metal recycling. The hemp sleeve is compostable. For the brush, remove the nylon bristles and recycle the metal handle with metal recycling.
Easily dispense the straw by squeezing from the bottom of the sleeve.
Although it is called a smoothie straw (due to wider opening), it can be used for almost any drink - iced tea, cocktails, water, juice, etc. Straw is not suitable for boba teas
Carry the straw and sleeve in your bag or keep an extra set in the car, so you're always prepared. If you ever forget it, just ask your server to 'Hold the straw'.
YOUR IMPACT
In the U.S., we use 500 million straws a day! That is enough straw waste to wrap the circumference of the earth 2.5 times or to fill Yankee Stadium over 9 times in a year! If you and others, carry your own reusable straw, it will help in not adding to this statistic.
Also there is a lot of energy consumed in extracting petroleum, converting to plastic straws, transported over long distances, only to be used for a few minutes and thrown away - you will help conserve energy and save the planet from plastic pollution, one straw at a time.
