WHAT DOES ZEROVANA MEAN?

Zerovana is short for 'Zero-impact Nirvana'.

noun (in Buddhism) a state of perfect happiness; an ideal or idyllic place

It stems from our mission to help reduce the overall impact we have on our environment and achieving harmony with nature. Of course, absolute zero impact is not possible, but we can strive to minimize our impact as much as possible.

We're currently an online-only store - we're based in Dallas, Texas, USA.



SHIPPING


I PLACED AN ORDER. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

We process all orders and ship it within 1-2 business days. After we ship the order, the time it takes to get to you depends on the shipping option selected at checkout. You will receive a shipping confirmation with the tracking information once the order is shipped.

Typically transit times are 3-7 business days within the US (Standard shipping) and 8-21 business days for International orders.

Please note that during holidays, processing and shipping times may vary. We appreciate your patience during this time.


WHAT SHIPPING OPTIONS DO YOU PROVIDE?

On occasion, we offer shipping promotions, at which time US customers receive free shipping if they spend over a certain amount. These promotions may change periodically.

$12.99 Flat-rate shipping otherwise (8-10 business days)

Alaska, Hawaii, PR and Rest of the world:

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout 


DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY ?

Yes. We ship worldwide !


DO I HAVE TO PAY CUSTOMS/TAXES AS AN INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMER (OUTSIDE USA) ?

Items shipped outside of the United States may be subject to additional import duties, taxes and/or charges which are not included in the order total shown at checkout. International customers will be responsible for all import duties, customs and/or taxes. We recommend checking with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to placing your order. 

We are not responsible for any shipping delays that may be affected by customs, natural occurrences, transfers to the local carrier in your country or air and ground transportation strikes or delays once the package has exited the United States. Packages undeliverable by any shipping carrier and/or their international shipping partners will be cancelled and refunded once received and processed at our shipping hub.



RETURNS AND REFUNDS


DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS, REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES?

All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges.

However, in the unfortunate case that your order has arrived damaged or you feel it is not as described, please reach out to us at hello@zerovana.com or using our Contact Us form, within 14 days of receiving the order and we will do our best to make it right. 


WHY DO YOU NOT ACCEPT RETURNS?

We, at Zerovana, believe in the value of conscious consumption - we want to encourage people to only buy what they really need and research the products they intend to buy. We highly recommend reading product descriptions carefully and if there's additional queries about any of our products or policies, we're always just a click away - use our Contact Us form or email us at hello@zerovana.com. We do our best to respond to all queries within 1 business day. 

We think that the mindset of 'I want it RIGHT NOW' or 'I can always return it' leads to excessive carbon footprint, packaging waste, fuel and energy consumed in transporting items back and forth. In addition to minimizing your plastic-usage, we hope that you strive for minimal environmental impact as well to achieve zero-impact-nirvana.


I CHANGED MY MIND ABOUT MY ORDER, CAN I CANCEL IT?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept cancellations once payment has been processed.

I NEVER RECEIVED MY PACKAGE. WHAT DO I DO ?

If any package gets returned to our store due to incorrect address, unclaimed by the customer or undeliverable by the shipping carrier, please reach out to us, we will cancel the order and issue a refund equal to the order total minus the shipping charges and taxes. 

We are not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen.

DO I NEED TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT TO PLACE AN ORDER?

No, an account is not necessary to place your order. However, we highly recommend creating one - it gives you unified access to all your order information  instead of having to search through emails. Also, all our customers receive early-access to our discounts, deals and tips to reducing your impact, before they are available to everyone else.
