YOUR IMPACT

It is estimated that between 850 million and 1 billion plastic toothbrushes are discarded every year in the US alone leading to 50 million pounds of waste being added to landfills. Your purchase will enable you to not be a part of this statistic.

TIPS AND INSIGHTS

This toothbrush should last you as much as a plastic toothbrush

After use, it can be repurposed into a nifty kitchen cleaning tool as well to clean small and hard-to-reach places like cheese grater, juicer parts, small jars, etc.

Bamboo handle is 100% compostable, remove nylon bristles. Cellophane wrapper is 100% compostable in industrial compost (use FindAComposter.com to find one near you). Cardboard box is recyclable with paper recycling.

The bristles are not biodegradable. The issue with recycling bristles is that they are very small and lightweight: curbside recycling will not work. The bristles will have to be landfilled. In total, this will result in less than 0.01 ounces of plastic waste (a dramatic improvement from plastic toothbrushes).
